These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Nightingale Notes website and the digital study materials sold through it (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, browsing, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Nightingale Notes is operated as an independent educational publisher (“we”, “us”). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the National Health Service (NHS). Any references to their published standards are for study alignment only.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must give accurate registration information and update it when it changes.
Each product is a digital PDF study document. Purchasing grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, read, print for personal use, and annotate the file. You may not:

Prices are listed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of applicable UK VAT where required. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd and are subject to Stripe's own terms. We never store your full card details. Bundle discounts are applied automatically at checkout when three or more qualifying guides are in your basket.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, digital content purchased online normally comes with a 14-day right to cancel. However, once you download or begin accessing a purchased guide, you expressly consent that performance has begun and you lose the right to cancel for that guide. If you have not yet accessed a purchased guide, contact us within 14 days for a refund.
Outside the statutory right above, refund requests are considered on a good-faith basis for issues such as duplicate charges, an inability to access a file due to a fault on our side, or a guide that is materially different from its description. Email hello@nightingalenotes.co.uk within 14 days.
We may update, replace, or withdraw guides to reflect changes in clinical guidance or standards. Owned copies of previously purchased guides remain in your library.
Guides are study aids and do not replace formal training, supervisor guidance, or local NHS Trust policy. You must never act on our content in a clinical setting where it conflicts with local policy or the direction of a supervising registered clinician.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant guide(s) in the preceding 12 months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
